Primary lung cancer was diagnosed as non-small cell in 74 (%) patients and small cell in 10 (%) patients. Primary salivary‐type lung tumors are rare intrathoracic malignancies and account for approximately % to % of all lung cancers. 1, 2 These tumors are indistinguishable histologically from their salivary gland counterparts, and it is believed that they originate from the submucosal glands of the tracheobronchial tree and probably are related to structural homology between exocrine.   Get to know the staging and treatment of lung cancer (bronchial carcinoma). This retrospective study was designed to investigate the clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of primary tracheobronchial mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC). Methods Clinical data were retrospectively analyzed from 32 patients with pathologically confirmed primary tracheobronchial MEC between January and December Brian C. Wilson, in Encyclopedia of Cancer (Second Edition), III.B Lung. For bronchial tumors, PDT is delivered endoscopically. Photofrin-PDT is effective in the palliation of obstructing, inoperable lesions, (Note: Historically, clinical trials have used different variants of HpD-based photosensitizers.   However, MEC is not usually considered in the clinical differential diagnosis in pediatric practice. The present study presents the case of a seven-year-old female with a one-year history of recurrent hemoptysis. Computerized tomography (CT) scans revealed a tumor originating in the right lower lobe bronchus.   In conclusion, the present pilot study suggests that the combination of BAI chemotherapy and DEE chemoembolization may be a promising method for treatment of advanced lung cancer. Large randomized clinical trials are necessary to confirm the findings of the study.
